ISBA's Practice Toolbox Series

Presented by the Illinois State Bar Association

Just as it is critical for a business to have a business plan, anyone who relies on technology to help run their business needs a technology plan. Creating a plan lets you manage how you spend money on new technology, reduces the amount of "surprise" technology-related bills, and allows you to roll out new technology in a planned fashion. Good planning increases long-term productivity and reduces costs. This program is designed to help you build a proactive technology plan that minimizes unexpected expenses and gives you a road-map to achieve your firm's objectives and a foundation for your technology budget. Learn how to determine the necessary components of your technology plan; how to identify problems and issues you would like to address with your plan; how to develop short and long term technology objectives; and how to budget for the execution of the plan.
